The webinar does a great job of presenting many of the challenges faced in the outsourced vendor buyer -relationship and discusses traditional techniques (SLA's, extreme process focus) currently used by many parties. This is followed by a deeper dive of the improvements afforded by leveraging Application Quality measurement techniques.
Slide 6 draws an interesting analogy to a wedding where the honeymoon starts with great expectations but, quickly turns into a lousy wedding driven by a lack of trust and communication.
Slide 12 contains a quote from Muhammad Ali "Your hands can't hit what your eyes can't see .... but what you can't see can hit you very hard" This is followed by a review of the typical development artifacts in the SLDC process (visible symptoms), and the (invisible root) which is seen by leveraging source analysis tools.

Transparency is a critical enabler to driving value in outsourcing relationships. As these relationships continue to evolve tools providing deeper insights into the application and portfolio management process will be worth their weight in gold.
