Testing using the Cloud

The concept of Cloud Computing has matured into a key asset in every organization's strategic IT infrastructure planning. Where applicable it quantimized hardware, software or application costs per user or per duraiton of use. It was such an intriguing concept that experts and business analysts even declared cloud computing to be the ONLY next-generation IT solution.

Cloud Computing eliminates capital expenditure on software, hardware and services. It allows the flexibility to take several approaches - pay-on-use, take time-based subscriptions, share infrastructure and costs, lower management overheads and access a huge range of applications instantly.

Cloud Computing is a new way of delivering computing resources, not a new technology! And it may not be the least expensive option - but this delivery has model provide rapid time to market and flexible investment choices. For new solutions to be successful they should leverage this model to deliver services more efficiently than today.
