Our client originally engaged with Alliance to move from a multi-vendor Support and Maintenance structure to the efficiencies of having those services performed under the umbrella of a single vendor. Together we developed a multi-year Application Maintenance and Support contract that provided immediate knowledge transfer and retention, while preserving all of the existing support levels across the business. During the early phases of providing these services, Alliance deployed a team that was entirely onsite at our client's locations. This team achieved a 28% reduction in costs over the existing, multi-vendor support regime. Over time, we started to blend in offshore resources to help lower the costs even further, ultimately achieving a 45% reduction in ongoing Application Maintenance costs across an application portfolio consisting of 6 unique business applications.
Today our team has organized into a hybrid team of onsite and offshore resources.
