Managed Testing Services for Global Supply Chain Integrator
Challenge:
HAVI Global Solutions is a supply chain managed services company. HAVI has a portfolio of applications collectively called as Restaurant Order Proposal (ROP) suite that supports the global supply chain of McDonald’s and other retailers. ROP has pre-set release plans to support continuously evolving needs of its clients and leverage technology.
In order to assure the quality of the releases in a narrow testing window, HAVI required the development of a robust testing foundation that covers platform upgrades, test data management, risk based regression testing and a hybrid extensible test automation framework for UI and back end applications.
Solution:
- Alliance implemented our Managed Testing Services solution:
- Performed QA Assessment on process, tools and people on US ROP (ZIL and SCR) applications
- Presented a QA solution with multiple work streams for platform testing, test data management, manual and UI and back end automated testing
- Created reusable regression test suite for platform migrations
- Developed and implemented test data management strategy
- Designed Titanium xAFT automation framework using Selenium based testing software as well as python, Unix shell scripts and CAWA scheduling software
- Developed a comprehensive regression automation suite
- Executed the automated tests on each build and published results to the stakeholders in a “lights-out” mode
- Created traceability matrix at component level from manual test cases to automation scenarios
- Continuing to mature the QA & Testing practices with inputs from CoEs
